Experienced Mortgage Broker Specialist
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia, I spent over 4 years at a mid-tier accounting firm completing audit fieldwork of various listed and unlisted entities. During that time I completed my Chartered Accountant studies, but in the work I was doing I found it difficult to see the difference it was making those around me.
An opportunity arose to join Hilko at Everfirst Financial Services that I jumped at and since then I’ve never looked back. Even though I had personally used Everfirst for my own finances in the past, my initial exposure to the finance process from a provider perspective was an eye opener, and Everfirst’s client first approach really resonated with me. It is extremely satisfying from both a personal and professional perspective when I am able to help people achieve their home ownership dreams, particularly when I have been there through the process to hold their hand. I also enjoy working with other professionals who also have the client’s best interests at heart, and the synergies that this creates for our clients in making each transaction a smooth seamless experience.
Even though we are only a team of two at Everfirst, we have significant industry experience and enjoy challenging each other on different scenarios and various aspects of the industry itself, as well as related matters, from real estate to economics.
Away from my desk, my wife Jessica and I are busy raising five children, and when time allows I enjoy the occasional day of fishing or cricket, and watching just about whatever sport is in season at the time.
